Set in the office of an unorthodox psychotherapist, Grace Period follows a husband and wife through a Twilight Zone therapy session. As the story unfolds, the well-intentioned but failing treatment for the couple’s ever deepening despair comes to its bizarre conclusion as they must deal with handing over their newborn baby to the therapist. The clinically depressed wife, emotionally overloaded husband, and steely therapist discuss the couple’s predicament only to have the story end with a heart-wrenching twist. |
