During the last three months of 2007 James Brown, a New Zealand filmmaker, travelled to the coastal town of Bagamoyo, Tanzania to volunteer as an art teacher. ‘Msanii’ is a documentary about the artists and art students he met during his stay and the role art plays in the unique culture of Bagamoyo. |
