Ruger is nothing special. He’s the runt of his litter, the “baby” and his littermates - especially his sole sister - never let him forget it. It only gets worse when their litter-mates are no longer there to provide a buffer between him and the cocky bully Layla. Winter’s challenges help him find find his feet while his new role as big brother gives him some much needed self-worth.
