More than two decades have passed since the U.S. Supreme Court banned the practice of jailing individuals who are unable to pay their fines and court costs. Despite this landmark ruling, the practice is still happening in Ohio. The ACLU of Ohio talks to Jack Dawley and Meghan Sharp of Norwalk, Ohio, two individuals who have served jail time for their inability to pay fines. |
