Miguel challenges Debbie, the new girl in his life, by scoring her. He grades her on her desire to please him and on the gifts she’s going to buy him IF she’s expecting to go out with him. In a complete reversal of the romance genre role, it is Debbie that is suddenly doing all the running around for her boyfriend and doing all the nonsensical things most guys normally do to win the approval of women and hopefully the loves of their lives. Debbie turns into the ‘Man’ in the relationship, while Miguel kicks back and lets her ‘love’ unfold.
