MISCONNECT tells the story of two very unlikely friends connecting by fate. Will (age 12) in Sydney, an ex surfer is struggling with a recent disability which has landed him in a wheelchair. Mei, (age 50) in Hong Kong, is trapped in a violent home life. When a mistaken phone call connects the two, each help the other out of their personal life traps.
