Juice runs a “Shooting Gallery” where junkies come to shoot up. He gets a little money for rent and providing a “safe” house from the police and criminals. When Scratch, a junkie, ODs, police rush in and arrest him for murder and possession. In jail he runs into an old enemy, Flocko, who wants him dead. Jimmy is about to get released in two days and is really looking forward to hooking up with his girl friend, getting married, having kids, the dream life, but his best friend needs him to do a favor and talk to Juice. When Jimmy approached Juice in a bathroom, Juice tries to shank Jimmy, and Jimmy out wrestles him, killing him in self-defense. He rights a letter and leaves it behind, saying how he cannot live by the prison code -“Down by law at the Devil’s School” - and he kills himself. His best friend swears he can no longer do what Flocko demands anymore. |
