Nicolas is furious. They have, once again, broken into his house and stolen his bicycle. And he could swear he saw a suspicious-looking type in the vicinity of his house that day. Outside, beyond, in neighborhoods he does not know, the city stands half destroyed by an earthquake. The country was already under State of Siege. Now there is a curfew and the media want to know if Pinochet will declare a general State of Catastrophe. Nicolas accompanies his mother to the courts in order to recognize the thief. |
