In the 1980’s, around 16,000 Mozambicans were sent to East Germany to work in factories, the mines, as well as to be trained in the Communist ideology. Through current interviews of Mozambicans, mixed with Former East German TV footage, we tell the story of what happened to these guest workers through their time in Germany, to their forced exit from Germany after the wall comes down, along with how they live now. |
