I never heard of Cowboy Bebop before seeing this. I liked it overall. I give it about a 6.5/10. After watching the series, I checked out the original anime. I never got into anime so it took some getting into…but it was mostly ok…and then Ed showed up.
Sure…maybe I just don’t get anime. Lots of people do so to each their own, I say. I don’t mind the animation…it’s the out of sync, odd, squeals and gasps that seem completely discordant…that I find off putting. When Ed came in…I went out. The character is nothing but squeals and gasps…like an annoying dog that won’t stop chewing on a squeaky toy.
I tried to watch the 2002 movie. 5 minutes in…Ed is there squealing…and I clicked it off. Ed is obviously an important character to Bebop…so I expect to not be overly impressed with season 2.
