As everyone else said, a very modern retelling of Lord Of The Flies And a bit like Season 1 of The 100. Its just an update and a good one for what it is.

Of course it seems like its bad because they took the most extreme stereotypes and mixed it with the dumbest situation. But that was the point. I hated the main bad guy so.. good job Hollywood, you cast just the right prik for the roll. In what they were trying to do with everything, they did really well. (even if that was to tell the most annoying story we already heard, in the worst way.) 8/10.

I will say that I agree they squandered a great premise with such a sad and stupid story. I think the movie High Life 2018 with Robert Pattinson did it way better and probably for a fraction of the cost too. High Life seemed more realistic and organic if a bit crazy. Voyagers felt pretty forced imo. They almost had me with the sci-fi monster.. would’ve been better.
