An excellent touch was the paintings at the start. ‘The Thing’ and ‘The Gunslinger’ being two I recognised. And the drug store is called “King’s”.
I love ‘Host of Seraphim’ by Dead Can Dance, and it’s use was perfect in this movie.
The end is awful, but we can’t have happy endings all the time.
