This is a spinoff from the shows “A Certain Magical Index” and “A Certain Scientific Railgun”, which are vastly superior, and worth a look. This anime, however, was extremely formulaic - bad guy of the week turns up and gets involved in psychic duel with the most powerful ESPer ever, who swiftly kicks their ass, whilst cackling insanely. The fact he is a bit of an “edgelord” doesn’t help either.
VERDICT: For the fans only, check out “Index” or “Railgun” first if you are curious.
