Agreed! Joss Whedon is one of the great storytellers of our times. However, two of his other hit shows were also completed: Buffy The Vampire Slayer and it’s spinoff Angel. It’s just a shame that the networks had such little faith in him to allow more of his TV Series to continue. Probably why he set his sights higher to big screens productions that had the financing to match his larger-than-life concepts.
Buffy is ofcause one of my favorites, and while it gave us an ending, Whedon was not nearly done with the story and would have continued for a couple of seasons more, had he been allowed to…since he wasn’t he continued the story with the dark horse comic books.
Angel ended on the biggest cliffhanger ever!!!! also continued in comic books.
