I think there is a tiny bit of reality behind the story. Gladiator fights were an actual thing however I think the reality of prison was only actually shown for a half a second toward the end. In truth the animals run the zoo. Respect should be given to every man regardless of current placement in society and even more so importantly when occupying spaces with those who no longer have anything but that respect and the idea that all they have is their dignity and respect. Funny thing about being locked behind bars, a prisoners daily routine is almost identical after poking holes in a corrections officer. The only one whos going to notice any major differences will be the CO and/or those he leaves behind if enough holes are poked. Regardless of it all I still give this move 1/10 (even if it showed prison as it truly is I am still going 1/10) as I am still caught up on who decided to cast either the two wives and/or the two boys. Anybody who says they didn’t notice what I noticed when it came to the casting is a flat out liar. If cast better maybe a 6/10 as it took some actual real things and made the events their own to create a compelling story.
