I’d say, general society sees it as less acceptable than the older man, younger woman set up.(Which is ridiculous imo, just be happy, consenting adults). But it’s more common than you may think. I remember it coming to the forefront of Pop culture and converstion back in 1999 with Stifler’s Mum in American Pie. (Played by the amazing Jennifer Cooliage!!). I think that’s also when the acronymn M.I.L.F became super popularised.

Wow, I guess it’s good that a discussion is going about my comment. My point was that even though I did not find it common, by the end of the film it was believable to me. It was a good film.
