Cute idea that could have been better without all the overload of cheesy dialogue. The network stole the sheriff’s character right out of Resident Alien. Someone forgot to think the sets through. Doing a story that mostly is set outdoors in snow requires a real winter scene with real snow. The loose snow looked fake and the snow sculptures were made of plastic and looked it. Finally, to get on a plane to Hawaii one needs a valid ID. I don’t think someone named Jack with no last name, no social security number and no birth certificate would be able to get any even in this fantasy story.
