Anna Kendrick makes a powerful statement about the sexiest treatment of women in the 1970s whilst exploring a dramatic version of the serial killer Rodney Alcala. She does very well both portraying Cheryl Bradshaw and directing, but the ending feels rushed and anti-climactic. Worthy of a watch, however.
