Yeah, I was impatient at the beginning of Season 1. Exposition was way too slow introducing the new characters and story arcs, and I haven’t read the Silmarillion. Went back and did a rewatch a couple of months ago and I liked it a lot better. I think I needed familiarity with everyone and everything from watching the whole season. Loving this one so far! The visual production is so lush and exquisite.
I think I need to do this also. From what everyone is saying I must have missed something with this show. And will give it another shot.
