This isn’t meant to make anyone angry or start a fight. I’m genuinely confused about the US stance. And anyone with knowledge on this subject or even thier own thoughts on the matter let me know. Its a strategic advantage for the U.S. to have an ally half way across the world if shit hits the fan to have a place to reside/stage “if needed” too defend against a major threat.
