People who dscover this movie for the first time get disappointented because they take one look at Sean Connery in the psoter and expect to see a fun late 70s post-apocalyiptic epic action movie. But this is actually a very deep philosophical experimental low budget science fiction drama about the nature of mortality. And in that framework, it is a very good classical sci-fi movie.
