I hope it is fantastic but, a complete release doesn’t always bode well for Netflix’s confidence in a show. A staggered release allows for an audience to build by word of mouth so that by the time the finale ep airs everyone is watching. Arcane was a great show but it would have never hit as hard as it did had they just dumped it all at once.
You make a good point, however the first season of The Witcher was released all at once and the fans seemed to like it. I didn’t really care for it and didn’t watch the other seasons but I’m not a Witcher fan. Like you I hope this show is great because I am a diehard ATLA fan but I’m expecting it to be complete shit. Lately I find almost every piece of entertainment to suck. Now I wait till the first season is completed then I check reviews. Then based on that I marathon the show, so this release works best for me.
