That 2nd Scooby KISS Rock-n-Roll Mystery really should’ve been what Hanna-Barbera released in the 70s. It’s so much better. Hanna-Barbera did both. The only differences are one is a toon, the other should’ve been, they have to share the spotlight with the Mystery Machine gang & the Scooby one was done with respect, the other wasn’t. But the English release of Phantom however was a theatre release, not tv, and it had songs from their solo lps. Gene had 3 solo songs, Paul had 2, Peter had 3 & Ace of course the cover of Russ Ballard’s New York Groove & then Fractured Mirror. Best thing of the 1st one is just that it’s young KISS, and Anthony Zerbe. The 2nd Scooby one has Gary Marshall & his sister Penny.
Detroit Rock City is the KISS version of Dazed & Confused. Young Melanie Lynsky is Beth. That’s nice.
