Very young, very smart people comically refusing to be tools of the military industrial complex eventually leads to a man swimming in popcorn because he thought he heard the voice of god.
Whenever the subject of favorite movies would come up talking among friends I would always say this film. It’s also quite quotable and smart humor.
“In the immortal words of Socrates…I drank what?”
One of the finest examples of the crazy ‘80s goofy slapstick comedies. This also marks Val Kilmer’s second feature, after his debut in the zany and lampoonish Top Secret! the year prior. Both are great family fun and worth watching in tandem!
