No, it’s a direct piss-take of the Kevin Costner film.
It’s Errol Flynn & Prince of Thieves both.
The entire feast scene is shot for shot right out of Errol Flynn with Basil Rathbone, not Costner. Other parts of it do have elements of the Costner film since that was the most recent spin on the tale, but Mel Brooks was paying tribute to the older film same as he did with High Anxiety & Young Frankenstein.
Anything Costner does is always a piss-take of itself.
