According to the internet a 2nd season for this show has been postponed according to James Gunn the director. The earliest could be 2024, the latest 2025. He is working on two other shows, Superman: Legacy & Waller starring Viola Davis reprising her role of Amanda Waller. Waller will actually continue where Peacemaker left off w/much of the cast of Peacemaker continuing their roles in Waller. So reading between the lines it seems what is being said is we’ll get a ‘2nd season’ kinda sorta of Peacemaker earlier just w/o Cena in the show Waller w/Viola as the main character.
