Vancouver coroners, pathologists, and homicide detectives inhabit a murky world as they attempt to solve the mysteries behind the unnatural, accidental, or suspicious deaths committed in the city's back alleys and bedrooms. At times selfless, at times grudging, they all have agendas and histories, passion for their work, and ambition for their futures. Charismatic, controversial, and mercurial Vancouver Coroner Dominic Da Vinci is the pivot around which this complex world spins.

If you like crime dramas, you’ll love this show. Told from the perspective of the coroner’s office and homicide department in Vancouver, Canada, it’s no cookie-cutter Law and Order-style show. Some stand-aloone episodes with ongoing cases and storylines weaved in, as well. Gets into the personal lives of characters, inter-departmental politics, the media, as well as the requisite grisly homicide cases told with gritty cinematography, taut, realistic writing and humor.

I’d like to watch this drama but the question is this, do I need to watch all seasons before watching Da Vinci’s City Hall? Or could I watch the last season of this drama and not be totally lost when watching the first season of Da Vinci’s City Hall? It would take me several weeks to watch 7 seasons before starting Da Vinci’s City Hall. Thanks.

I would watch all seasons just because it’s soooo good. You’d really be missing out if you don’t.

Thank you for the reply. I’m still working from home and I can sneak in a few episodes during the day. And it looks like all seasons have 2 or more links which surprised me since the series started in 1998. Not often do you find a series this old with links for each season.

No problem. I know. Sometimes I get so excited to see there’s a show on here and then there are no links - especially older shows like this. This is a gem and shouldn’t be missed despite how old it is. And Nicholas Campbell shines in it. I hope you enjoy it!

The request for links to be added is a lengthy one and I don’t know when or if the uploaders will ever get to them all. PW is about the only site that has a lot of movies from the 30’s and 40’s and older tv shows. That is why I use PW 100% of the time. I can find a few on YouTube for free which is a good 2nd source for some older movies/tv shows.

It’s here but there are no links. You’ll have to request them:

I used to watch this and City Hall with my Dad. Good series and authentic people and not the perfect cookie-cutter houses like a lot of modern US shows. Seeing a bit of clutter and even aspirin bottles on window ledges (as silly as it sounds) makes it seem more real.
