Thank you for your valuable and astute insight.
Did you forget that humor is subjective?
People that are unfamiliar with Seth or his show should watch an episode to get a good idea if it’s their type of humor or not. That would not be a waste of time.
Have you seen him since he ditched the audience? He’s the one host who has excelled and his confidence has grown ten-fold without them. It’s now a pretty groundbreaking show as I don’t think the audience will return.
It’s too bad that on most days no one posts HD links of this show. All versions usually look really “blurry” to me due to low quality. Very shortly I’ll be adding HD (720p and/or 1080p) versions of new episodes for fellow fans who prefer watching in higher quality.
I’ll be doing the same with other shows/movies that I like that also lack high quality HD links. Perhaps it doesn’t matter much if you watch it on a phone or small screen but I watch on big screen so quality makes a big difference to me. Hopefully others will appreciate my efforts.
I encourage all link posters to try to include HD links (for any show or movie) whenever possible. Thank you!
Some ppl don’t really care if some of the shows are HD quality. Hell, some are even OK with watching movies with cam quality.
Because of my crap bandwidth I’ll pick a lower sized (and non-HLS) link on stuff like Seth— I care less about seeing every little wrinkle than what he says.
But hey, feel free to go back and upgrade the shows where the visuals matter, Game of Thrones would be a great place to start. (heh heh). Hopefully, you won’t only add HD links— It’s nice to have a choice.
Yeah I totally get that some have limited bandwidth and for that reason prefer SD. And I agree it’s good to have a choice, which was my point: in this case there are only SD links, no HD choice.
If GoT really has no HD links that would be very disappointing. I didn’t check if that was the case but that would definitely be a good show to see in HD. My point was that I think a good practice for link providers is to submit links in whatever quality is missing at the time for a given show, so if a show has only HD links available, then submitting SD links would be a more meaningful contribution than just adding more HD links (and vice versa). So I’m in full agreement with you: it’s nice to have a choice.
Regarding Seth’s wrinkles, that’s not why I want to watch in HD but he does sometimes have attractive guests that I do want to see their wrinkles and umm… other parts in better quality. I agree that the message is more important than the visuals for that show. I think I’m probably a bit spoiled from watching high quality so often such that seeing SD makes me feel like I’m not wearing my glasses, it all just looks kinda blurry to me.
Even wearing glasses doesn’t help the quality of SD. I’m working on getting new ones, anyway. But I do get annoyed when there’s nothing but SD to choose from.
Love this guy, not. Bet i get a bunch of down votes. All from morons.
And there He/She is! 2 minutes! Can’t stand it for 2 minutes! Nice
i down vote your down vote loser.
