Janet is back to work on a case of a woman smothering her two sons, and is forced to question the woman's mental state. The pressure is piled on Janet when she has to reveal to Erin that she is on IVF. Erin is still overwhelmed by the Mervich case, when Janet asks if she'd like to join her on the filicide case. Concerned about the emotional toll the work is already taking on her, Erin turns it down. Janet warns her to think about her career. Jimmy Butcher gets beaten up. He reiterates that Erin was not the one who leaked the file to him, but is he just telling her what she wants to hear?
