The first to comment on this and I have to say,top notch all around from the beginning to the end.Never read the books but I did watch the original movie which was good but this is far beyond that.Anyone debating on whether to watch it or not should not hesitate. An instant classic for me with an 80’s style movie feel like stranger things.I was expecting the end to be a disappointment like most shows, but this was nothing of the sort. A well deserved 5/5.

in case you ever get to read this, have to tell you you would LOVE the book series. totally agree with you that this blows the film out of the water. being an original fan of the books i personally wanted a lot out of the movie that it just didnt deliver but the show does a lot more work to achieve the tone of the source material. there are some layers of wit & depth that just cant quite be translated to the screen though and from ur review i think you’d be delighted by them
