Escape artist Harry Houdini and mystery writer Arthur Conan Doyle meet when a nun is killed in a locked room under mysterious circumstances. A witness reports a ghost, but Harry is skeptical while Arthur sets out to prove the supernatural does exist. Assisting them is Adelaide Stratton, Scotland Yard's first female officer, who is assigned to the men to keep her out of the way. |
