Hazel Irvine introduces the first-round action from Carnoustie as the world's top 15 women compete with the rest of the field for the final major of 2011.The stellar cast list is headed by defending champion and world number one Yani Tseng. The 22-year-old from Taiwan this year became the youngest female player to have won four major titles, but it is more than a decade since anyone successfully defended the British Open. Tseng faces stiff competition from the likes of former winners Jiyai Shin, Karrie Webb and Scotland's Catriona Matthew. |
