What bugged me most about this series was, when, after much hysteria, we finally got to the ‘Central Plot Point’ of the story at the very end of the season finale, it faded to black. And now the thing has been cancelled. :-/

Watched the first episode, didn’t really like it,but gave it a chance, then 2 more into it, was interesting, but also was kinda boring the way they were doing it, dragging a bit, at least to me.Followed through to the end if for no other reason then I had all that time invested already, and wanted to see how it played out. Disappointed as hell, wished I never started.Seems like most Science Fiction these days is either really good, or just sucks. Sometimes you’re better off going with something more along the lines of a ‘B’ type thing, as you know what your getting into from the start, expectations can be lower, and you might wind up liking it anyway, just because!

That’s so true. This aspired to be so deep and compelling, but really ran off the rails when it went in a thousand different directions, detracting from the main arc (and main point) of the mission. All those episodes, only to be cancelled just as the show finally meandered toward its goal….

septimas 2 points 6 years ago. 3/5 stars.

The writing is bad. The directing is bad. The soundstage is bad. The short story is pretty good but not good enough to warrant a show about it. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is if you’re new to the genre of Sci-Fi, maybe this is a good starting point due to its high budget production. If you don’t enjoy this show much but still like Sci-Fi, check out “The Expanse” (it’s very good).

Yeah, watch ‘The Expanse’. It has room to grow, and, is entertainingly good.

‘Dark Matter’ and ‘Firefly’ are also good shows similar to the expanse. I haven’t watched this one yet, but I’ll give it a try.

Krl246 2 points 6 years ago.

Both cancelled too soon.

I would give it about a 3/5. It had a lot of interesting ideas in it, but I felt like it was low in character development. It didn’t make me care about the people.

End at the beginning. Way to ruin a show. No need to watch now.
