Winter has arrived, the time of year when the salmon return home from the Atlantic Ocean to lay their eggs in the rivers where they were born. Johnny has been scouring Exmoor looking for them and finally in the tiny village of Brayford, Johnny gets his shots of a large male salmon.It's also the time of year for the South Molton Fatstock Market, which attracts sheep farmers from all over southwest England keen to demonstrate the quality of their animals. But Johnny's favourites are the Shire horses and he helps out as one of these huge beasts is fitted with new shoes. |
