The entry of the Saint is an annual VRT television program in which the Flemish entry of Saint Nicholas, the Zwarte Pieten and their entourage from Spain by steamboat (almost always to Antwerp) is broadcast directly on Ketnet or One. and usually repeated later. The program is from the makers of the Ketnet programs Dag Sinterklaas and Sinteressante things and mainly features characters from them. The program has been an annual Ketnet event since 2003. An entry was also broadcast on VRT in 1993, but it was neither live nor an event on site. |
