As 1944 begins, USS Enterprise and the Carrier Task Forces pummel through enemy bases at Kwajalein and Truk Lagoon, as the Japanese make a desperate stand in the Marshall Islands. From the Marshalls, the Enterprise sets a course for New Guinea and supports the invasion of Hollandia during Operation Persecution. |
