Christmas is approaching at Wiveton Hall and Desmond is in a sociable mood, hosting a pheasant shooting party for his old friends. As his treasured seasonal farmworkers head back to Poland, he transforms the kitchens into a jam-making factory. The hall and cottages are decorated with Christmas trees and Desmond organises an end of the year party for his staff. Cockerel korma vol au vents are on the menu. |
