Alan Titchmarsh heads to Essex to surprise retired nurse Pat Wade - who set up a charity for young burn survivors - The Children's Burns Club. The club organises events for children with burn scarring and their families. Since the charity began in 1995, summer camps and outings have become a vital part of young people's recovery. As a thank you from the many children Pat has helped over the years, Alan and his team turn Pat's tiny concrete backyard into a glamorous outdoor entertaining space. |
