The nerve-racking events of a cold winter's day, seen from two different perspectives. The odd episodes tell the story of a team of police negotiators and special forces who respond to a hostage crisis in a small bank branch. The even episodes tell exactly the same events, only through the eyes of the criminals inside and their victims.

Really well done Belgian crime series. Writing and character development were top notch along with the acting. Very rarely nowadays do you see writers actually take time to develop characters to this degree in a series. I had some issues with some of the technical aspects but I suppose it could be chalked up to dramatic license. The storyboards and editing were done in a very unique fashion that I think worked really well overall. A Great Watch! 4.5/5

Amazing series. Really well written, i.e. situations are very plausible.
Character development and acting is all first rate and maintains it’s grip until the end credits.
I watched the whole thing over three nights and that’s not something I’ve done since Dark.
Highly recommended.

FYI: a bunch of the episodes have the subtitles cut off so you can only see the top half of the text

episodes 1 & 9 have no problems
episodes 4, 5, 11 are BARELY cut off (like the bottom 5-10% of the words) and don’t impact readability
episodes 2, 6, 10, 12 you can only make out the top half of the words
episodes 3 & 8 feel a bit worse, maybe 60% of the text was cut off and i really had to strain to comprehend

i was able to make it through the series alright but if you don’t speak dutch or are a slow reader this might be a tough one to get through

still, really enjoyed the show! couple moments made me roll my eyes but it managed to sustain the tension and mostly kept me invested in the plot
