When Ferdinand, the regular cake supplier of Lommerrust cemetery, dies, his son Karel has to take over the bakery. It is a great responsibility, especially now that the annual oliebollen test is approaching. Ferdinand has little confidence that Karel will be able to uphold the bakery's honor. He asks Hein to help him. There is also a crisis of confidence going on at Lommerrust. Johannes is going crazy because of his son's interference, while Menno is going crazy because of his father's stubborn attitude. |
