In a journey to Canada, filled with murder and magic, we begin this series of the hearty detective who finds mystery and murder In Victorian Canada. Detective Inspector Cameron of the Glasgow Police arrives in Toronto to take charge of his young niece Prudence, who has recently lost her parents in an epidemic and becomes involved in a bizarre murder case. As a reward for solving the mystery, he is appointed by the Premier to be Ontario's first Provincial detective. |
