i remember one episode in work in progress, abby talks about weaning off svu with a similar sentiment (cant remember which ep, but was related to george floyd situation) https://www.primewire.tf/tv/1331277-work-in-progress
i feel like it’s really intensified lately as well. seemingly EVERY single uk drama that comes out. genuinely also how they advertise haribo —- also never seen that show, thanks!
It’s partially people’s obsession with true crime which really started getting super duper popular during the pandemic. I mean, true crime and cop procedurals existed before COVID-19 obviously but I think that’s a huge part of why every new drama on UK tv is copaganda.
