George Mullen, a massively popular, but complicated, former American President is pulled from retirement to head a commission tasked with investigating a devastating global cyber-attack.Zero Day asks the question on everyone's mind — how do we find truth in a world in crisis, one seemingly being torn apart by forces outside our control? And in an era rife with conspiracy theory and subterfuge, how much of those forces are products of our own doing, perhaps even of our own imagining? |

I thought this was excellent. Best thing I’ve seen De Niro do in awhile. Also very relevant towards the current state of the country, it’s division, corruption and lies. The only thing that really separates it from any sort of suspension of disbelieve, is that in the end, the truth comes out. Unfortunately for the show makers.. That’s just not a reality that this country understands how to swallow. So I think half the country will like this series and the other half is probably having a hard time finding anything to watch at all.
A bit more info on this drama. “Zero Day stars De Niro as George Mullen, a popular but complicated former president who comes out of retirement to head a commission investigating a devastating cyberattack. The six-episode thriller comes from creators Eric Newman (Narcos, The Watcher), Noah Oppenheim (screenwriter of Jackie and former president of NBC News) and Michael S. Schmidt, a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter. The series has begun filming in New York.”
And who is Angela Bassett, The President, made to look like I wonder? hmmm? That was probably De Niro’s idea lol.
Only way I would EVER watch De Niro in anything was if it was a Zombie movie
He plays Trump! ROFL I thought I would add some drama “bows” Thank you all :)
Yep trash
Is it because he is a woke liberal Hollywood stooge or do you find his acting bad?
Maybe because he’s good at being a prick.
Actually, according to many Koolaid distributors, most of the brilliant actors are said to be pricks. Why can’t they just drink up and kiss the ring?
Ah he is a good prick.. Hm.. Yeah you are right.. He must have seen at least some woke liberal Hollywood stooges that he loved if he hang out here. Or maybe he mean he only look at foreign films and documentaries and that Hollywood movies are beneath him. It is just unusual to see somebody that don’t like De Niro. And who Killed Bambi? Do they mean the Bimbo?? Bambi, Wasn’t that Sex Pistols? Or Reagan and Thatcher? Is Bambi Carter then? Is he turning on our orange leader? Is that why?? My God!!
You are so weird, man.
Ah aren’t you such nice and sweet young man.. But Please don’t give me all the credit.. It’s the time and my hard life experience. Being reasonable have never led anywhere but have just been weaponized. All over the place. You must have seen it and know what I mean.. Look at my generation.. the punks, and where we have gone and become.. It’s a bad joke. And the earlier.. The hippies.. are now Reagan freaks. Looking for cheap Chinese rubber for their wheelchairs. They eat their young for it. The only sane strategy is to follow the flow and trip(like falling, not lsd), and while tripping.. trip ( others and sanity) so original thought might at least get a chance. An invitation to.. That. You must understand what I mean. You don’t have to classify but rather invite to that yet untouched. God does not look, there is no points in some of his books. Like dancing drunk with a cleaver on a dull birthday party. It does not make me a murderer. Just a dropped out of class(like classified rather than school class) to get to laugh a bit rather than having to be angry or having a desperate cry. This must be at least somewhat theoretically normal and a bit understandable.. no?
