This is a great show. It shows the manifestation of the character’s traumatized inner child through humor and breaking the 5th wall. What do you call it when the character breaks the imaginary boundaries and talks directly to their inner child? The show is mostly about an estranged family reconnecting. But it also shows the over-achiever/latch-key-kid/self-sufficient Gen X/Y adult dealing with their parental abandonment issues and trauma while raising (smothering) their own kid to over correct.

Unfortunately it is not being renewed for a third season, but I don’t think that should stop anyone from watching these two.

Has anyone watched this, and would it be worth my time to watch it?

I quite liked it overall.
There were certainly a few things that bugged me about it yet for the most part its a nice balance of seeing other perspectives and most importantly it shows relationships or groups going through the growing pains challenging core beliefs and actually maturing as people.
It really has a lot to offer but it is a bit length too commitment wise.
Personally id say go for it.
Also id watch the new 2024 show “Piglets”. I quite liked that one myself. A nice brit police trainee type show with a focus on comedy only.
