Peacock's Dr. Death: The Undoctored Story will offer audiences the chance to hear and see the whole story, told by the real people who survived it. In addition to interviews with the real-life Dr. Robert Henderson, Dr. Randall Kirby and Michelle Shughart (played by Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater and AnnaSophia Robb, respectively, in the scripted series), the docuseries will feature new conversations with others closest to Duntsch and his criminal case including Jerry Summers, Duntsch's best friend who he paralyzed following two surgeries; Wendy Young, the ex-girlfriend of Duntsch and mother to his two sons; Dr. Joy Gathe-Ghermay, the anesthesiologist during Jerry Summer's horrific surgery; Dr. Mark Hoyle, a Texas surgeon who physically tried to stop Duntsch during a surgery; Tex Muse and Pamela Trusty, two of Duntsch's victims; and lawyers from the trial. |

Very curious to here this story. Sounds very much like Jayant Patel and Harold Shipman. Its very chilling how these normal looking unassuming people turn out to be murderers…but then again, I am sure Dahmer and Bundy didnt have “Murderer” written on there foreheads
The difference between Duntsch/Patel and Shipman is Shipman was a GP/PCP who murdered his patients - at least 250 of them. Duntsch and Patel were just really, really incompetent surgeons.
Are you aware of this mini-series?

Yes, OK so I didnt do my research very well. I tried to stream the series on here but my connection wasnt good that day. Perhaps I should watch the series first?
I would, paul.
Yep, teach me to mouth off about something I only have half the story of lol. All good
Keep in mind that the mini-series will have taken artistic liberties whereas the documentary shouldn’t. If you were to skip the mini-series I believe you would be able to attain the whole story by watching the documentary.
For me, the mini-series was entertainment.
this docuseries was much better than the movie. It dealt with the facts and didn’t go off on nonsense of why this Doctor (if you can even call him that) did these horrible acts. As it is titled the undoctored truth. The movie tried to imply that he may have been color blind or dyslexic. There is no proof of any of that. He was putting ego and money above all else and if someone died or well it wasn’t his fault. I enjoyed this very much. Thanks again uploaders. 5/5
