I enjoyed it but found the three big reveals in the final episode to be very predictable from the moment they were both introduced. I am disappointed that the main premise of the show was not solved and dangled out there for another season that may or may not happen.
It was a subplot, that was pretty obvious from the beginning.

Well, the Brits have a lot of unique crime drama’s but sometimes they’re way out there and you never know what to expect.
Yeah, I just watched the trailer and decided “nope.” I just finished binge watching all 4 seasons of London Kills, and I cannot go from that to this.
trust me you need to watch it all never judge a book by its cover i watched all and cant wait for season 2, bbc dramas always start like this and lead you into a wicked twist
Giving it a go. About to start epi 2. I can say the detectives are a bit over the top. I can watch that type of dramatic psycho path dance on any American crime show I came to a British show for something different.
In ep 3 things get strange and take a turn.
Yeah these two actors are totally getting type cast. I don’t know that I have seen ANYTHING they’ve done where they were cast as a creep or oddball.

i am 2 in and still like it very much. Some oversight in small details though.
It gets a bit convoluted but it makes it to the finish line. I suppose another series is warranted since not everything was resolved.
