An excellent series. Hope there is a season 2
Got renewed last month.
Season 2 started a while back, been watching it, it’s even better then the first season.
Some sad news! Will There Be a Joe Pickett Season 3? Sadly, no. On October 31, it was announced that Paramount+ had canceled the series after two seasons. Why do they always cancel the good shows and keep the stupid reality shows!?!?
I thought it was perfect to have ended it in season 2. Really enjoyed the series.

I read a number of the (many) books by C J Box a few years ago, it’s a lot of stories covering the exploits of Joe Pickett and his family. I wonder how true to the books this series will be? The spectacular landscape of Wyoming should play a leading role as Joe’s a game warden there. The stories are great so hopefully this will be too.. guess i’d better have a look eh! :))x
I like this alot I wouldn’t call it a western more like a chill town with strange ocuranses
I really enjoyed this one and look forward to a second season. I did feel it could of been condensed into 8 episodes. Loved the cinematography and that alone makes it worth watching.
The trailer does look good , But then so did the trailers for the “walker” reboot/rehash and look at that , Fingers crossed
Taylor Sheridan ain’t got nothing on this. Beautiful adaptation of the novels. Yes, certain changes have been made, but all within reason. This is excellent TV.
Another decent series bites the dust. Must be a unwritten rule, if it’s a decent story, has great ratings, by all means cancel it.
Damn shame.
it’s a watch but judging by the amount of minutes i fast forwarded i think 5 episodes would have been more than enough to tell the story. also the non-linear storytelling is completely useless. the great landscape could have been shown more often and much better.
Joe Pickett Season 3’s release date is predicted to arrive by late 2024 or in 2025. However, this release window isn’t confirmed yet. So that is good news and that there will be a season 3!
I almost quit watching it at Episode 1 but was totally hooked by Episode 3. Really enjoyed Season 1. Looking forward to watching Season 2 now.
I liked this show for some reason, and I’m just about to finish season 2, but there are more holes in this story than in a Dunkin Donuts.
I kept thinking I’ve seen Michael Dorman (Joe Pickett) in something else! I’m watching For All Mankind and Michael Dorman is Gordie in that drama and is now on this drama. So, I guess I’ll need to finish For All Mankind to see what happens to Gordie.

Why am I just now hearing about this new drama. A different type of “Yellowstone”, yet alike in ways, wanting to preserve the land from outsiders.

Sometimes I forget to see about second seasons of new shows that are really good. I guess I need to really start making a list. And if I don’t see any comments about the new season etc. I forget all about them.
I do the same thing sometimes, but since I heard this was going to be renewed, I kept it on my ‘watching’ list, so when it came back up, it was auto loaded into me TV guide here, so I didn’t mess the new season. Got to doing that with all the really good shows I like, esp. as now a lot of them like to stop part way through a season, then come back later for the rest of the season.
