So far, four episodes in, this is one of the better Korean dramas I have seen in a while. Nobody is in high school, lol. But the writers also know you aren’t here just for the romance.

The female protagonist is a tough cop who has been demoted from major crimes to violent crimes for her dogged pursuit of corrupt superiors. The male protagonist has supernatural powers provided by a mad scientist through genetic manipulation. Every single actor really sells their part. There are plenty of fight scenes that even include our female protagonist, who this last episode performed a drop kick.

The writing is very engaging. I know some people don’t like episodic cliffhangers but I think it is truly a testament to the writing if they can make you say at the end of one hour long episode, “now I gotta watch the next!”
