In Malverne, N.Y., host Jeff Mauro and three chefs turn a neighborhood's Garden Block Party into a cooking competition, and the chefs have to convince unsuspecting homeowners to let them crash their kitchen for ingredients. Chef Marc Murphy helps Jeff judge as the competitors make a cheesy Mexican-inspired dish, a sweet and savory surf-and-turf masterpiece and a dessert with a surprise filling. After a final battle, one winning chef splits a cash prize with their lucky local family. |
