I agree with you. As a black man that grew up in the late 90s and 2000s, this does capture a lot of things I experienced first hand.
A brilliant and layered portrayal of North American privilege. I got called a thug for having long hair in the 80’s. And Im white and Canadian. Not a black thing. Get over yourself boy…..
